What people are saying

On Wednesday morning I visited some people from my days at Social Services, now residing in your Westfield (Care Home). I left feeling the need to compliment yourselves on how well cared for and loved June, Jean, Vic, Audrey and Margaret appeared to be. The staff I encountered had ‘time' for these people and me, they were extremely polite and warm making everyone and everything feel relaxed.

Keep up the good work. There are plenty of people in need of good elderly care!

dining_4_800On behalf of Eva's family, I would like to thank you very much for the care and love that you gave our mother during her time with you.

We know that she received the best care possible but you all gave much more than care, you gave her love too. We know that she never wanted to be a nuisance and you made her feel that she was no trouble at all.

We would also like to thank you all for the care and consideration you have given our father. He has appreciated it very much and always looked forward to chatting with everyone, staff and residents alike.

We would particularly like to thank everyone for their support during the long day on Friday. We coped much better with you help (and your coffee and sandwiches). It was a very difficult time for us, dad in particular, and the help and consideration from all of you, especially Anne and her staff in mum's last hours, was very much appreciated.

Thank you all once again.

Jackie Stanberry and all of Eva's family

To express our gratitude that's felt there's just no way to start, your kindness will forever be remembered in the heart.

Thank you so much to all the staff who cared for Dorrie

Sylvia and family

We would like to thank you all for the love, kindness and wonderful care you gave to mum over the past 2 and a half years and especially for the last weeks of her life.

Mum was always full of praise for you all and thought Ashwood (Nursing Home) was the best place that anyone could ever live.

We entirely agree with that, both for care of mum and for the great care and kindness shown to ourselves whenever we visited.

It was so very much appreciated. With our love,

David, Jane, Edward and Anabelle

The family of Peter Wood wish to say a big thank you for all your love and kindness while looking after Peter.

He was made really welcome and given such comfortable surroundings in his final part of life.

We would like to give a donation to you comfort fund as Peter would have wished. He was a kind and generous man in life. He loved being outdoors in his working life and loved growing all sorts of produce.

We were very please you could attend the funeral, it was good to see you there, it just shows how much you care, and still care for residents.

Peter will be greatly missed, as will our visits, but we hope to attend any events you have planned.

Thank you so much for making Peter's final days as comfortable as possible.

Stephen, Tracey and Lucy Adena, June, Andrew, Linda, Rachel and all of Peter Wood's family
